ANS is pleased to report the successful Launch of the Kodiak Star Launch <BR>vehicle from Kodiak Alaska on Sunday morning 02:40:02 UTC (Saturday evening <BR>local time).<P>The launch had been delayed several times due to weather conditions and Solar <BR>Flares.<BR>On board the launch vehicle and of interest to Amateur Satellite operators <BR>were the PCsat and Starshine satellites as well as another satellite <BR>developed by the Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs). <P>Initial Information indicates that all satellites were successfully deployed, <BR>and that the amateur radio satellites have been heard by AMSAT members in <BR>many countries.<P>For further details keep in touch with ANS
