That money will be returned to you when you return your smart card, as per The Agreement. All you need to do is fill in the enclosed Contract Schedule and post it to us along with payment that will include the subscription fee, plus the cost of MySAT receiver, and the smart card bond. Of course, if you do not have a Ku-band satellite dish then you will also need the satellite dish installed. Attached you will find a list of installers to choose from. Please note that these installers do not work for World Media International or MySAT but have been included for your choice and convenience. The method of payment is by Bank Cheque or Money Order (no personal cheques) and to be made to World Media International p/l. Credit card facility is also available at an additional surcharge of 5%. Once payment is received, the Smart Card and the receiver will be sent to you via Registered Post. Processing of the application will take no less than 10 working days before dispatch. or four instalments every three months? Never pay one year in advance, Not again for anyone. Pay monthly, or they should have B Pay as another option, UBI also ahould get B Pay its easy and safe.

Yes I use BPay, and I have been using it for years, Its a good way to pay bills

MySAT receiver, and the smart card what about if i want to use my equipment and pay the bond for the card only

they wont do that you will have to use there equipment

So if you want to join it will be a min of $370, then after three months you pay $120 and so on.

You have to use there equipment if you want their service, I made sure of everything before I joined. There is no way out, you will use their equipment and your first payment will be at least $370 box/bond/3 months of fees

let me get this straight they want you to buy a box from them and then put in a smart card . WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO FREE CHOICE there must be a law against this what happened if i was crazy enough to buy the box from wmi and join up for 3 month the disconnect what good is the box then do i put it on the shelve next to the tarbs box

yes the law is ( well im pretty sure this is right ) that any pay tv company has to supply there own equipment for there subcribers

This why I love Irdeto 2, you can use plenty of boxes that are better than the crappy UEC

well you have to make that choice whether you plan to continue your subscription before you join, you can watch wmi for free now, they are giving you time to make up your mind whether you would like to join them or not or just join UBI and use your tarbs box.

whome you have two choices you either join WMI and pay the fees mentioned on your contract or join UBI, the fees are for everyone it will not change. Its easy either that or the other not many choices

just the way it is if u want to use ur own equipment there service on pas2 c-band is available all u need is a 2.3m dish and pay a year in advance and they give u a card to put in your box

It would be great If UBI go irdeto 2 so all you need is the Card Period, shit this would save heaps, and only supply boxs at extra cost, but if you use your own Irdeto 2 box you get a discount. remember Foxtel& Austar they own the dish if it goes out of wack its there problem but with UBI and WMI its your problem so why not do it better and allow the use of a superior box like the Dreambox,Nokia D Box,and the faithful Hummie

Even if UBI does go Irdeto, it doesn't mean that they'll sell subscriptions for the card only, you'd still have to "hire/or whatever" their box

No irdeto 2 works with a collection of boxes, as long as they don't want the card to be married to the box, Austar used that method but people are still getting around it to use with one particular box.

I think the C/Band service will cease soon, its on Pas 8 Ku?

Yes, who ever joins WMI from now on, will be on pas8 they will no longer use the big dish.

This morning I received the decoder box from World Media International brand abs-cbn its also can be used as an FTA box has a lot more freatures than the TARBS one. The will encrypt the channels in 2 weeks, during that time they will add 3 FTA arabic channels <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

yeh i think there using the same boxes as the ABS-CBN Philopine mux on PAS8
