The search engine seems to take forever to find a solution to an inquiry. Clicking on the line that says, “stop, I have had enough” has no effect. <P>Dick Zseltvay

Dick,<P>Thanks for letting me know. I will have a dig around the cgi scripts and look into the UBB to see what I can find.<P>One solution can be flush the cookies out of your browser (click preferences) then clear all cookies set by the forum.<P>Meantime let me look and see what I can find. Any other users experiencing searching problems or good results?<BR>

I tried it the other day and it was pretty fast for me, considering I am on a cable modem. I did notice a lot of data traffic during the search, and I think it may be the screen "Searching" updates. Over a phone modem or slow connections this may have a slowing effect on the data transfer.<P>Just a thought...<P>Dave...

Thanks Dave,<P>That was my experience as well. I pinged the server and looked through the logs and all appeared fine!
