Dave Bate and myself worked on a radical facelift for the forums. We have gone for a black space look. Its quite easy on the eyes. We have changed the forum logo as well.

Dave has been editing and renaming some of the forums also.
I prefer darker looking websites more better for my eyes i like everything dark colors good work !
Thanks!

Also anyone having issues accessing closed forums let me know, I completely hashed the database, so there are bound to be missing ones.
There should be an option for a white background option as it's now painfull to visit the site.
yes there should be options like many other forums. so we won't have to be traped in this funeral colour.
its true it affects my eyes if i stare for a little while.I suppose the meaning of the dark background is representing the universe but to be honest i like a little sun as well.Light blue would be nice.

Dave, the world around you is amazing.here we are battling to watch a tv channel. That picture is amazing.
The Hydrogen alpha suff is amazing, but closer to home it seem the dark matter debate continues ...... maybe think of a white backgrond as an allegory for the cosmic background radiation (it was worth a Nobel prize!)...
Still prefer the old background !!!
Or at least give us a chance to change it ???!!!
An option would be great.
I am afraid that the present version doesn't have that ability.

Can you try some other colour arrangements and post them (screen snapshots) on the forum so we can vote on it.
Can't do that without having to reformat all the 200+ graphics for each seperate setup. This is the way the boss wants it. This is the new look as part of the new Aus-City portal.
