Hi Michelle,

Thanks for the request however it is actually illegal for us to hire our cars as we do not hold PVH or Limosene licences.

Our members can received huge fines for doing this.

Unless one of our members contacts you in person than I am sorry as a club we cannot help you.

Jodie

You could always " lend " the cars and accept a " donation " for doing so

And if we get caught are you going to pay the $10,000 fine?????????

There are a couple of members that do it that is why I said that our members may contact you directly, the club cannot do it.

Its dictatorship!! The amount of times I have been asked to take either of my Monaro's for a School formal is incredible. The end of this week I might have to take my daughter to school as her friends want to see the CV8 or the HQ GTS as some of these kids love cars and not all are boys. Rain will be the only thing that will stop me as I don't drive either cars on a wet road.

Its not even that, I have done hundreds of weddings and formals in my car, there are ways of getting around it (ie get an invitation to the wedding like you are a friend doing a favour etc) but the problem is that the Limo drivers are getting jack of losing the money that we are making and have started dobbing us in.

Mum and I did a formal in dads car a year ago and this time it really was for a friend and no money was changing hands and a limo driver got straight on the phone to dob us in.

In a lot of cases it is just not worth it anymore

I would like to thank everybody who replied, I am just sorry for all of you that would like to make a little extra cash on the side and these limo drivers think they own this market. I certainly cannot afford to pay at least $200.00 per hour to hire a limo. Who Can?????? Thanks again.

Michelle
