Hi all
I am sending out a request to all Monaro club members to supply pictures of your monaro if you wish to have it published on the club website. I am currently looking for car shots, engine bays - etc (burnout pics wanted) I have set up an email address to send your pics - monaroclubqld@optusnet.com.au
Please do not shrink your images I am trying to get the best resolution possible.
I am open to any new ideas for the new website so please contribute.

Steve

The site needs to be less white and more maroon, the website reminds me of the old member shirts. Would look very preofessional if it was a nice dark maroon with some nice new buttons as them little blue ones look cheap.

The welcome blurb needs to make more of an impact on guests and members everything down there seems to rushed and cluttered.

it might be my browser [mozilla firefox v1.0.7] but some of the text overlaps in certain places and looks messy.

In the committee section it would be great to see a nice photo of each of the members for new members sake so they can recognise who is who when attending a meeting or outing for the first time.

I hope that's what you were after, hehe :$

Hi Kylie thank you for your comment, that is the feedback that I am after. Because I have only been a member of the club now for just under a year, I don't know the traditions of the club and what not. So feed back like that puts me on the right track. I am going to need help with Blurb in the website, if you can help me with blurb by writing a welcome or any other part of the website I would be really great full. If you want please see me at the next club meeting.

In relation to your browser it is better to view the website in Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you need any help with your computer just see me at the club meetings and I will be happy to help.

The pics are flowing in good. Thanks Bob and Ray for sending your pics. Just to let people know that the number plates will be blacked out if anybody had and hesitation about sending in their pics of their car. I would still like to encourage members to send in any pics of their Monaro’s and engine bays (308’s and 253’s if anybody has any - Chevy’s are also welcome of course :-) )

I was just browsing through our sister clubs web sites and the best out of us all has to be Monaro Club os\f NSW found here --> http://www.monaroccnsw.com.au/

they have a very stylish layout, but poorly displayed links [on the left hand side]

the welcome blurb is simple, effective and also lists what the latest news/updates are.

this is where we should be heading. also their forum is very nice http://monaroccnsw.4.forumer.com/
but ours is just fine

just an idea really

Kylie
