Well as some of you know or don't know My CV8 devil Monaro went into Zupps Aspley (Brisbane) to have a engine re-build (A known pistons slap/oil consumption problem, only 11,200k on the clock) And I have to say they did a 100% job, No scratches on the car, Not even on the tips of my new VZ monaro Bonnet (fitted weeks ago) when they stand the bonnet up against the wall. I checked the complete car from the rear coupling on the tailshaft to the radiator and found nothing wrong/lose/ or whatever. I looked for anything and everything that was not put back correctly like loose hoses/ hoses rubbing together/ clamps interfering with other hoses/ electrical connection that did not have the safety clip inserted I looked for hours and found NOTHING!!
To my desperation I had to find something so it was the alternator, the rubber grommet on the Positive terminal was on about 80% and thats it, No oil leaks, no water leaks no nothing and the engine is quiet too, no more slap not even when fully cold on a cold morning start.
All I want to say is this mechanic that worked on my car your blood is worth bottling and if other mechanics worked like this you would not have any problem .
Now for the rest like The Customer service chap/The SMS reminders/updates/ and the rest they were 101% And considering I've never had a car serviced there, I have to thank you guys for doing such a perfect job.

One very happy Owner .

Phil
We want to buy a new VZ Calais and we are going around for prices next week. Thanks for the good info about Zupps as this is very important a good dealer that the service is to be appreciated.
We know your fussy phil and if they are good enough for you they definately are good enough for us, plus there close to home but again the above is the most important.
