Stress is par for the course when a parent is dealing with DoCS. I don't think any parent can stumble through their situation and not suffer from some degree of stress.
What do you do to relieve your stress? Has it worked for you?

To help with stress the only things i have found tht work are 1. Crying (i have done alot of that ) 2. drawing my DOCS CW on my punching bag 3. Visiting sites like this one.
If you have any other ideas i would love to hear them.

I love yours Bella, never thought to do them (besides the crying, that's common for me!).
When really stressed I go for a drive to a really lonely spot and scream to my hearts content with alot of howling and crying with it...but goodness I can last another month or two from then on dealing with this Dept.
I journal alot, if they were subpeoned my diaries, I'd be stuffed! LOL
Lately I've delved into fiction thriller novels and movies to concentrate on other things when court dates approach...
This is how i've managed! Hint: The thriller movies help you think one step ahead in life, which is helpful when it comes to dealing with the Dept!

Some great ideas here!
Some more ideas are...
1. Taking up a new hobby. 2. Walking the dog more often. 3. Associating with friends/family more regularly. 4. Beginning a journal/diary. 5. LEAVING THE HOUSE and getting out regularly. 6. Going out to dinner or a movie more often. 7. Joining a group (any kind will do). 8. Exploring your spirituality. 9. Having a good belly laugh for no reason. 10. Associating with positive people. 11. Meeting new people. 12. Changing your routine.

negative experiences weaken our bodies....and over time if not dealt with this eventually effects the health of our bodies. Many people go to psychs, counsellors etc and eventually to drs for a script....but all these things only serve to bandaid the issue and most often serves to compound it. Eventually, the person is so weakened in their general health, that they no longer have the strength to stand or gain any form of control over their lives. yet there are ways where we are able to strengthen our health and so, with the help of others gain the original health we were blessed with. however this cannot be found in any gov law, as their intent is to weaken and destroy the family unit, and so keep the people weakened by ill health, whether spiritually, mentally or physically...and all three must be addressed to achieve full health. It is more of a matter to know what causes these issues, and most are in no way , with their tickets, qualified in helping to achieve this....their qualifications are merely tickets doled out for academics.....and this is working well for the oppressors, no matter where they put themselves, and most wouldnt have a clue regarding life and living. when we are stressed mentally, this in turn affects our physical health and visa versa...and for most we are disconnected from our true spiritual self, so it is a never ending circle of events...next our nervous system is affected, then our digestive system, and on and on it goes. All those hints above are really good and being around those who have experienced what the individual is or has been through is part of the healing process...so through forums like this and others these people are able to get more help than any "qualified geek" could offer with their academic crap. There are many food supplements that can help in balancing the body, therefore strengthen the physical self in body and mind....and there fore the spirit too would become strengthened and so a balancing most certainly is achievable. It is the mental state/attitudes that need changing, we are too influenced by the crap of what these academics say, and things we learned through our own families, communities and cultures, which have all been influenced by governing bodies and religions.....

the government are masters at playing mind games with people....they do it to their own military personal....they continually tell what they what you to take on...by saying you are mentally unstable, until...eventually you believe it yourself.....that is how they work....and use the academic dolts to back them up....

Qualified geek... I love that! LOL
I agree that eating properly and making sure that you have a good balanced diet is essential.
I would also suggest upping the vitamins etc with store-bought products just to give that extra boost... A body will absorb what it needs and expel the rest.
Maintaining good health is very important.

The human body is designed to work through the digestive processes....our thoughts through the solar plexus/diaphragm and nutrition the digestive system..... it is the natural mineral content within our bodies that become depleted and hense the disease process spread through the systems....hitting our "weak spots" . Things like vitamins ought to be consumed via our diets so they are processed properly...not through supplements. because many people know little of their own make up, it is very easy for them to be consuming what , in reality they do not need. Not all store bought supplements have the therapeudic value they claim to have...this was shown to be fact in our own products made here in Australia. One needs to know their body type properly, their blood type and make up before they ought to put sups into themselves....they can have a detrimental effect on ones own personal body. most of the people that approach me come from naturopaths who really havent a clue and need their "accreditations" negated...they seem to think, once they get that piece of paper they know it all, this is incorrect.....we need a sound knowledge of the workings of nature and the human body of an individual to be successful. massuers are a risky lot as well....from my experience, most that are massaging do nothing to find out about the person they have in front of them, and they can very easily compound a persons problems...the whole scenario with gov and training in this area is frightening to me, particularly inlight of those who come to me. In truth if a person is a true healer...they wont make money out of it.....because it is a vocation, not a profession....and many are ignorant of nature and the elements. There are three causes of disease....misuse of body and mind, unhealthy association of the sense organs and ignornce of time and seasons..... how the hell the old systems were blotted out because of the vote of three people is beyond me, but it is comforting to see some drs are going back to the ancient methods.....that of working with nature...after all that is what we are all made up of.....Ether, air fire and water...we are all made up of combinations of them all...that is what makes us unique....so to heal everybody with the same regime is not only bad practise, it is also ridiculous to say the least.

Yes, but I said that based on the assumption that a parent's diet has gone pear shaped and they are trying to bring it back up to scratch.
By no means would I advise someone to regularly take health supplements if they have an appropriate diet... Health supplements are unnecessary if the diet is good.
