1. Makes owner consider suicide.
2. Dreambox is a satellite receiver but doesn't leave enogh time to watch TV.
3. Make fake excuses inorder to leave work so you can attend your dreambox.
4. You let people who enquire how much you've paid for the dreambox, the same people spent $150.00, yet they have the same channels as you.To don't look like you were riped off , you try to explain that your dreambox is different than other boxes, or convincing them it was a gift.
5. At the beginning you try to get encrypted chanels but don't succeed so you end up watching FTA channel.
6. You get bonbarded by people asking you if you are able to access some channels their after , that makes you feel depressed.
7. Changing cables ofter causes friction at home.
8. You will be asked so many times by others , are you married to this dreambox?
9. You work long hours on the dreambox,it will turn you into a zombie.
10. Most likely,it will cause seperation to couples.
11. Other receiver owners will admire you and also consider budgeting to purchase one.
12. It will make you dislike visitors sleeping over, so you can't work on the dreambox.

After all these things it causes "I still love you DREAMBOX."

Haaaa
I like all of the above!
I can tell you this the dreambox can be the most frustrating box on this planet and 80% that buy them never get to use the full potential of the boxes. I had mine for three years and its only been the last 6 months that I have started to master them and compared to others I'm nothing but an apprentice.
I love them as they are so unique and complicated and I definitely love the dreambox keyboard so I can keep an eye on Aus-city whilst I'm in the lounge room enjoying my tv.
I can wait until the newer models come out.

As far as i'm concerned its the greatest box ever produced but people ignorance is the biggest problem. Forget your FTA as thats only a minor use but for the rest the sky is the limit of your intelligence. What a piece of equipment they are.

I like 'em cause they're like a puzzle...everyone's working on them and slowly you get pieces that fall into place....making the time spent interesting....better than say humax.....plug it in switch it on and stare at the idiot box. I agree sometimes they are the biggest piece of shit, but at least this keeps the brain ticking.

I wish sometimes I had the brains of some of the younger guys today that have mastered the dreambox, but I'm not complaining as if you compare me at my age to others at my age I'm Einstein compared to others.

Both 7000 & 500 here working nicely, a few local mods to some areas to get some stuff working that i like, but all in all, PLi is a nice image. Hydra Fans will like the interface.

PS the 12 above i dont agree with any of these.

Every decoder has a place, its each to their Own.

People always take the piss (can i say that) out of something they dont understand hoping people wont see through their non-understanding of something.

This is my opinion anyway. we are all different

davo
