Get ERT / Oman TV / Abu Dhabi TV / KurdSat on UBI STB<br /><br />Since ERT / Oman TV / Abu Dhabi TV / KurdSat is FTA on Optus B3 here is the unofficial guide on how to get them on the UBI STB.<br /><br />Doing this will allow you watch the UBI service with addition any FTA channels on Optus B3.<br /><br />Please do not call UBI as we can not offer assistance as it's not supported by UBI.<br /><br />- Press Menu<br />- Scroll down to Advanced Options and press OK<br />- Press OK on Change Dish Installation<br />- Press 8 2 7 2<br />- Scroll down to Signal Setup and press OK<br />- Scroll down to Signal Setup 2 and press OK<br />- Press right arrow so Signal Source is Enabled and press OK<br />- Signal Setup 2 should now have a * next to it<br />- Press Exit once<br />- Scroll down to Tune & Rescan and press OK<br />- STB will reboot<br /><br /><br />TV Channels (TV Mode on UBI STB)<br />- ERT is on TV CH 561<br />- Oman TV is on TV CH 565<br />- Abu Dhabi TV is on TV CH 566<br />- KurdSat is on TV CH 568<br /><br />Radio Channels (Radio Mode on UBI STB)<br />- NET 105.8 (Greek) is on Radio CH 6<br />- Emirates FM ( Arabic ) is on Radio CH 17<br />- Oman Radio (Arabic) is on Radio CH 18
Question: after you alter the setup as described above you're still able to watch the UBI channels? The Change Dish Installation command worries me.

After I did a re-scan to get the 3 new Arabic channels on ubi. Im unable to get Abu dahbi now.. ?

A cheap and great little box, all UBI needs is more s/w updates and it will be a beauty.

Liski,<br />Before the 3 new arabic channels came up last night when I re-scanned it was working but after I scanned and got the new channels 73 74 75 the other channels didnt come up and still not.<br /><br />What I get now is 1 to 85 and thats it even if the step 2 is enabled with a * and I tune and scan I still get 1-85<br /><br />if I press 566 I get E37 Service unknown.

same thing's happening here. i don't have 561, 565, 566 either even though i had them yesterday.<br /><br />another thing, box cannot store other globecast's channels. it scans other globecast's freqs (such as system setup 3) but it cannot store their channels.
Sharp,<br /><br />If it's enabled it store the channels. I've got 12525 (V) & 12564 (H) working and they are stored.
yeah they're enabled but they don't work for me.
Sharp,<br /><br />You could try Restore To Factory Default and start again - just take note of your UHF channel if your using RF.
