thank for your reply Jason, the radar system is for ground use as seen in many documentary on site survey use, ancient relics and such.have a brochure from Accurate Locators inc. USA. their equipment is expensive. seems to comprise a portable belt pack tx rx unit 1mtre square coil unit and laptop computer for display and interp.,of info in a simulated color graphic like sonar,or fishfinder unit for boating.

sounds good it must work on ultra Sonics does it ?
we use Ultrasonic sensors in the trade and there about 900 bucks for a basic setpoint ( on off like a limilt switch) but the Analog output ( 4 20ma ) they are very pricey its seams that they work on the same lines as what you are talking about

what would be cool would be a Radar that you could install in you house and it shows you a outline of the house and all the movments around it better that having 10 PIR sensors

Sorry no gold in Mt Gambier, have a two month trip end of year to the Phillipines, would love to have a GPRadar system instead of regular VLF metal detector for all the relic,ww2 sites and plenty of gold there also.

Jason ,I dont think the system uses ultrasonic transducers, but some type coil system 1metre square, buy the looks of the brochure, proberly some kind of pulse induction or something at some exotic frequency?but I could be wrong.just dont know enough of the basics,

I don't have knowledge about radar technology. But I have knowledge about the surveilance technology.
