NATO Secretary General attends SACT change of command ceremony
The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will visit Norfolk, Virginia in the United States on Wednesday 30 September 2015, to attend a ceremony marking the change of command at the Supreme Allied Command Transformation (SACT). He will be accompanied by the NATO Ambassadors and the Military Committee.
At the ceremony, outgoing French Air Force General Jean-Paul Paloméros will hand over command to French Air Force General Denis Mercier as the new Supreme Allied Commander Transformation. The Secretary General will make remarks to mark the occasion.
Mr. Stoltenberg will also participate at a tree planting ceremony to mark HQ SACT’s new building expansion.
