I have recently purchased STD 3100 Tarbs receiver and when i switch it on it gives me a massage no signal (rain in area) and then IRD DISABLED.<br />I cant search for any of the free to air channels coz i get the same massage all the time. If someone knows somting about it can you plase let me know.<br /><br /> Thanks

ok ..first u unplug the STD off and then u plug it in turn it on ..make sure ur smart card is inserted press menue on ur remote control go to installation put the code 8272 then put the transponder detail the freq and the s/r make sure the LNB is on press exit and then force remote update ...and there u are with free to air channels..good luck

I ve tried that and i can see it finding all the channels but when the force remote update is finished gives me IRD DISABLED message again.<br /><br />Thanks

What are you going to do in 9 days time?? the box will be useless, If you ring UBI they will ask for card/box details and they know the box is not yours.<br />You could be lucky in 9 days time if they work in the FTA mode which I doubt, but for the moment just find B3.<br />Phil
