There has been alot of negativity shown towards UBI.<br /><br />Hey if there's issue's about not knowing about how long it'll last pay monthly at least if something does happen you won't be hard done.<br /><br />Too much untruthful rumuors about programming content and financial problems.<br /><br />Has anybody given a thought about the co-incidence of WMI and PanGlobal starting of Pas8 doing ethnic channels which TARBS was doing? Looks like PanAmSat has alot to answer for on whether it had dealings with these companies before taking TARBS out..

I, personally cannot wait for the day when Cable/SAT TV will be as cheap as international calls are! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> <br />Certainly, internet access is getting cheaper by the day too. Now with Voice Over IP, we can talk and even see the people we talk to. A couple of issues with QoS but as the access bandwidth increases by the day, I don’t see that being a problem any more.<br />Now it’s just a matter of time that no one will be able to rip people off big bucks for a couple of crummy channels from O/S.<br />Have you noticed that even singers now are turning to giving away their CD’s (to download) at no cost? They actually use that music as adds for their concerts…. Soon people will realise that the content they are watching has already been paid for by the advertisers and why are they being charged for it too <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

Big chief<br />Again I don't give a shit about Wog Tv I'm an Aussie girl, you normally find me in the controversy Corner forum stirring you guys up but there is some action on this forum so here is my contribution.<br />Something does smell about TARBS and the way they were outed, and I bet you the opposition were partying on drinking and putting the hard word on the office girl like most of you do but I bet they never expected tarbs to re-emerge so quickly and be up and running in a matter of a few months.<br />I would like to see UBI get a fair go and be given the benefit of the doubt but again be wary of all pay tv companies not just UBI and never give them a cent more in advance than you have to.<br />Cathy and the girls laughing at you guys.

Or what about the channels themselves who were left off-air when TARBS folded - maybe they approached WMI/PAS direct?<br /><br />At the end of the day isn't it better to move on, forget the past and the rumours,, and recognise that more operators = more choice = better value for consumer.<br /><br />And if the operators in the new regime have all been around a lot longer than some others, then surely they are the better business operators, and therefore maybe the ones to pick as providers..<br /><br />Just a thought
