Moderate 4.5 quake hits near Loralai, Loralai District, Balochistan, Pakistan4.5 quake 28 Sep 8:11 pm (GMT +5) A magnitude 4.5 earthquake near Loralai, Loralai District, Balochistan, Pakistan, was reported only 16 minutes ago by India's National Center for Seismology (NCS), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in this part of the world. The earthquake occurred at an intermediate to considerable depth of 168.2 km beneath the epicenter in the evening on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021, at 8:11 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report. Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Khadan Khak (pop. 6,600) located 72 km from the epicenter, and Loralai (pop. 37,800) 93 km away. In Zhob (pop. 50,500, 112 km away), the quake was probably not felt.
