i managed to alter the engeniring in the lnbf and I picked TV 7 on TELKOM1 and TPI and INDOSAIR on Palapa c2 i played with the feeding horns the vertical and horizontal,I put both about 75 mm apart and that incresed the reception about 3dbs with 3 m dish makes a lot of difference..<br /><br />Tracesat Brisbane

I'm only using a cheapo Pacific LNBF and I pick up everything on Palapa and Telcom 1 with no problems.

well my dear Phill i managed to get 10% increase on my lnbf reception by playing aroun with a very common hardware,which it is the lnbf holder or plate where we install the lnbf,I was wondering how to get more signal and it came to my mind if the signal going into the lnbf gets expand before the lnbf it might increase the signal,I tried with different materials and then,I saw the plate and i did the test which was locating the the lnbf holder right on the end of the lnbf and "Bingo" 10% increase.with that increase i get perfectly clear TV 7 ,Trans TV and not that good LAtivi on Telkom1,Indosair,TPI excellent a bit low Antv on Palapa 2c but SCTV increase by 15% ...
