The Translucent Hand
Different type of picture here altogether. But one that drives me mad trying to understand.
I took this picture of a female waving her hand in front of a window. The flora behind the window and part of the window frame can be seen through her hand. Which I can only assume is because that light is shining through the thin portions of her fingers etc. The thing I don't understand is why can't I see her hand bones, or blood vessels or any of the internal parts?
Are some people not really real? Like holograms? projected into this world?
I've not modified this in anyway at all.

Great photo and a fascinating subject matter. One I have been pondering for a while now. I like the concept of the light shining through the hand and also of holograms. At the moment, I don't have a solid answer or theory on this subject. But I made a post with some of my thoughts (since I can't link in photos here yet).

I do. I believe what that picture shows is proof that we are not solid. The Budists teach us that although we believe ourselves to be solid manifestations of spirit, that we are just simply energy, and have trained ourselves to believe that we are solid objects. I support this theory wholeheartedly. I actually wrote a post on this subject on another website. I was debating the validity of orbs at the time, & couldn't get the naysayers to understand why I believed orbs to be concentrated balls of energy/spirit. I will include part of that post & my explaination of how I believe this to be fact, in a spoiler below.Although I was talking about orbs in that post, The same principals apply to humans & I use an example of a human hand (ironically) to represent this theory.But please disreguard the snotty tone of my post, as I was debating w/an egotistical moron at the time, so please understand that the attitude in my post is not directed at you starchie. He left one snotty post after another which I chose not to include in this post. The comment of his that I did include was probably the most polite part of his reply, so I included that.

 Excellent repartee with Moron! I learn something new every time you share something with me.  I like the way you broke down physical matter to explain it as energy. We have trained ourselves to believe many confining thoughts. Have to keep breaking through those rigid structures and allowing new concepts in.

Thank you Alisa  . That arguement is exactly why I now do not stray too far from THIS website! Rigid isn't even the word! I find that some people aren't willing to believe in ANYTHING other than the "norm", even if the "norm" offers nothing but dead ends.Oh well, their loss I guess. Think I'm gonna go buy a drill now.

Great debating with the Moron guy. I hope your are not subtly suggesting I'm like him. I do infact agree with you jimjam. What I've come to believe lately is that eveything and by that I mean all matter is made up of spirit energy. Billions of spirits condensed. The material world we take for real could well be illusory, a "Simulacum" a word given to me in a channeling experiement. The profound question for me is why?

Hey starchie, ha ha  no I'm not at all suggesting that you're like moron...not even subtley. I am familiar w/alot of your stuff, I've followed your pics & posts, & I pretty much already knew that you would be more for Simulacum than against it, just by following your posts. All I was saying was please feel free to dissagree, I didn't want you to get the impression that you would be attacked by me if you dissagreed, as I did get a bit snotty w/moron(justifiably so, he really was just a very rude person & kind of a bully). So basically by being openminded you are now kind of like a conduit for spirit energy, & the answers we seek either in our conscious or subconscious. As w/Alisa whom I adore, she is so openminded & willing to braoden her perception, that she brings this info(the messages she's recieved through channeling & spirit communication) to herself. Wether through conscious or subconscious request. Something I'm hoping to get as good at doing, as the two of you. I think that was a very special & valid message that you recieved. Oh and as a P.S., a few weeks ago I copied a photo of yours to my computer to view it larger. I 'm pretty sure it was the 'hope fire spirit' photo. While viewing it in zoom, I noticed a few figures in addition to the hope spirit. I marked it up where I see the others and such. Could you take another look at it, & tell me if you remember seeing these adittional figures, or if they are just physical human being guests, like maybe friends of yours?
I don't think I can repost it here because it might wipe out your hand pic above. So Look for the 'starchies pic' post, I'll post it as a new topic.Thanx.
