yes, there is a uplink problem. I have called UBI and they said they are doing their best to fix the feed.

i like to watch too many channel because each channel put different news and some good programs. i don't care about the langage. i like to watch instead. i'm curious about all those channels because per example two days ago tve(spanish channel) was the first one that showed us the pope election. obn is english film that's why i'm asking about it.<br />so what i mean is that each channel of ubi got good programming and good news sometimes.<br />sorry for asking all that but because i'm curious to find new channelshope u understand what i mean

yeah i wonder whats going on with UBI, 1st its OBN and still isnt back for over a week, then ERT goes down, and ERT works fine tho over the globecast platform on B3. I called UBI they said theyre having a incoming feed problem and all will be fixed.<br />And now today i find that Planeta TV and NTV Hayat is now also experiencing difficulties. Thats like 4 channels offline??? Whats going on UBI!

With OBN the problem itself is with OBN - We are working with them to fix the problem. That's all I know.

Sun outage only effects twice a year for about 10 days around 20 minutes a that time.

obn problem is taking so long can anyone tell if there is still a channel called OBN or not going to come back. it's taking sooooooooooooo long

yes, its going to come back they are still having a incoming signal problem. I have contacted a friend of mine in europe to check if OBN is working fine on the Amos1 satellite, and he said its working just fine. So I dont know what kind of incoming problem UBI is having still. But it would be nice if it gets fixed asap.

The channel is off-air due to overseas technical problems.<br /><br />UBI is currently unable to receive the channel in Europe, and therefore cannot bring it to Australia and deliver it to our viewers.<br /><br />UBI are working closely with the broadcaster to find a technical solution that will allow us to get the channel on-air as soon as possible.

I have called UBI, they said they will not be having OBN anymore...is this true Liski? In someways i did like this channel, at times it had very good locally produced content but mainly it was english though. That is why i think it was turned down.

OBN is and will be part of the UBI Balkan package.<br /><br />If you can please PM me the name of the person you spoke to it would help.

and she also told me the channel line up would be this for balkan:<br /><br />MKTV, K-15, NTV Hayat, Planeta, and 1 serbian channel and the Balkan package would be only 5 channels.

No one has been advised how many channels the Balkan package will have but it will be more then 5 and OBN will be part of it.<br /><br />2 weeks ago there was an article in a Macedonian newspaper regarding the K-15/UBI joint venture it said that UBI would have:<br /><br />3 x Macedonian<br />3 x Serbian<br />2 x Bulgarian<br />2 x Bosnian<br />2 x Croatian<br /> <br /> <small>[ 02. thats right but telstra has hundreds of them ubi has how many 5? or 10? <br /><br />it shouldn't be a problem to do regular meetings with a small sales team to tell them whats going on and what to tell the customers.

u would think that this problem with obn would be fixed and that the americans in bosnia who run the channel would have more money to fix it....

Liski, is there any more information on when this channel will go to air again? Its been a while now since its been down and you did say it will be part of the Balkan package and im just wondering whether it will start broadcasting again soon. Thanks.
