Science activities<br />aboard Space Shuttle Columbia continued Wednesday as the STS-107 crew<br />monitored and sent television footage to Earth of the progress of<br />experiments developed by students from six different countries. The<br />experiments are part of the Space Technology and Research Students, or<br />STARS, project. Installation of the Auxiliary<br />Power Units is in work, and technicians are in the process of removing the<br />Remote Manipulator System aboard Endeavour. <br /><br /><br />ORBITER MAJOR MODIFICATION PERIOD<br /><br /><br />VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103<br /><br /><br />Shuttle Processing Note: The Orbiter Major Modification (OMM) period for<br />Discovery continues with Avionics Bay 3A structures modifications, and the<br />Multi-Purpose Logistics Module dedicated heat exchange and radiator<br />isolation modification.
