The contract <br />includes a modification to provide calibration services to <br />the eastern range precision measurement equipment laboratory <br />on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and transient <br />alert aerospace ground equipment maintenance services at <br />Patrick Air Force Base (PAFB), Fla.<br /><br /><br />The contract extension/modification, valued at approximately <br />$287.7 million, covers October 1, 2003 through September 30, <br />2004. The total contract value, including exercised options, <br />is more than $1.5 billion.<br /><br /><br />The J-BOSC is a performance-based, cost-plus award fee <br />contract to provide base operation and support services at <br />KSC, CCAFS, and PAFB. Under the contract, SGS provides <br />facility and infrastructure operations and maintenance; fire <br />protection, security services, transportation support, <br />grounds maintenance, and other base support services.<br /><br /><br />SGS is a joint venture of Northrop Grumman Technical <br />Services, Inc., Herndon, Va., Shaw Infrastructure, Inc., San <br />Diego. and Wackenhut Services, Inc., Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
