After positive published results describing the assimilation of adaptively thinned AIRS cloud-cleared radiances in the 3DVAR GEOS, this team has then successfully tested adaptively thinned CrIS and IASI data as well, and then moved to assimilation in a hybrid 4DEnVAR configuration.
