"Can't join the session" error on lobbies with crossplay enabled

For some reason I can't join crossplay lobbies. I've got crossplay enabled and everything, but the error "can't join the session" just keeps coming up. This does not occur on non crossplay lobbies. I've tried everything, reinstalled the game and all that, but it's still the same
