hey guys,
I want to buy a used Tarbs box for my uncle...So if you have any Tarbs box that ur willing to sell plz tell me ASAP!

The box MUST be in a good condition with everything working fine and no problems...I dont mind both models the old and the new but if you have a new one for abit of more money thats not a problem..

We're willing to pay around $120 - $150 but we can discuss the price issue so that shouldnt be a problem too...

But this is only for ppl in Sydney (prefered South West area) so we can come and pick it up...since that this is not eBay so we'll come and pick it up and also to see its condition and pay the money...

So if you have an ex-Tarbs reciever that you want to sell just tell me in a private message or here in this thread..

thanks

I would also want one and posted in the sale thread but no one even seems to look in there...

I'm in Melbourne so in no way am I taking anything away from Amr Diab here because he's after someone from Sydney whereas I am after someone from Melbourne and I prefer the 3110.

Interesting!!
Has anyone been able to buy a UBI box from a authorised UBI supplier. Or are the Suppliers keeping the boxes for themselves?.

Call (03) 9581 7989 and speak to a lady named Aysu, she's turkish but speaks english fluently, she's in Melbourne but will hook you up with a MDS Receiver of your choice (I prefer the 3110 unit with the M360 Remote).

Last time I purchased one from her it was $200 with 12 month warranty, or $175 with 6 months warranty.

Anyone willing to pay those prices should call, however I am not willing to pay that much myself.

Call UBI and they will give you a list of Preferred Installers but they must visit your premise to install the decoder. You can not purchase the decoder over the counter.

Hummmmmmm ! Well foxtel and Austar do it. One day a pay TV company will be smart enough to just flog you just the card and it up to you to select what box to buy for yourself, a cheapie at $150 to a $850. Dreambox.

That ain't the way it works Phill. The pay company DO NOT want to support every Tom dick and Harry manufactured piece of crap decoder from China.

Fair enough I reckon a lot don't even come with manuals.
