SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #12-45

**** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK ****

Summary For September 24-30

A category S1 (Minor) solar radiation storm was observed on 28 September due to solar activity from active sunspot Region 1577.

Category R1 (Minor) radio blackouts were observed on 30 September due to flare activity from active sunspot Region 1583.

Outlook For October 1-7

A category G3 (Strong) geomagnetic storm is expected on 1 October due the effects of the CME that arrived at Earth on 30 September.

No proton events are expected at geosynchronous orbit.

R1 (Minor) with possible R2 (Moderate) Radio Blackouts are expected on 1 and 2 October.
