I have recieved conflicting reports from UBI about a Tarbs Vizyon style channel (Turkish Channel). UBI representatives at a local fair indicated it would be running in April at no extra cost. When I ring UBI they say its coming, but they have no idea when or what the costs will be. Is there somebody out there who knows what the real facts are? Maybe Liski knows something

It is coming I don't have a start date. I don't think there will be any extra cost for the channel I believe it will be part of the current Turkish Package.

yeah good news that Vizyon is on the way but i hope they keep LigTV going 24/7 coz in the old TARBS days they used to cut LigTV half way through a program.

Also i want my 24/7 soccer. So if there going to have Vizyon sharing a channel they should put it with NTV given that they stop broadcasting when they matches from soccer Leagues in Europe.

Yes, I agree with imparator_fatih_terim. No one wants to have Vizyon on LigTV as its gonna kill the LigTV broadcasting. Vizyon can be shared with Kanal7, Samanyolu or NTV whichever is preferred by the Turkish community...

The package that most of us have subscribed for includes LIG 24/7 and ditto for the other channels if they cut LIG to put in Vizyon I believe they are breaking there contractual agreement to supply LIG TV and/or the other channels. Vizyon if added should constitute a seperate channel, not necessarily 24/7 but it should not interfere with the other programming

I've just seen the ad for Vizyon Comming Soon on UBI World TV and i was just wondering if it has been decided which channel it will be on.

Hopefully UBI realise that having LigTV 24/7 will get them more customers in the end and therefore have Vizyon either on a seperate channel or sharing with a channel other than LIG TV (in my opinion it should be NTV as that gets cut when showing european soccer games)

Thats right share it with one of the best channels, didnt we ask for it to be a separate channel it does not have to run 24/7. I'm p****d off. If we can have 18 Arabic channels why not one more Turkish channel or at a minimum share it with a channel that is not that popular such as Kanal 7. I will be reconsidering renewing my subscription the six month contract is almost at an end. And why cant UBI keep the website upto date with this sort of information

MadScientist,

Sorry to hear you are reconsidering renewing your subsciption.

A survey was done with alot Turkish subscribers and Kanal 7 had the most votes to share with Vizyon.

I always get Kanal 7 and Kanal D mixed up. Vizyon will share with Kanal 7.

[ 12. May 2005, 10:04 AM: Message edited by: LISKI WORLD TV ]
