PAVLOF VOLCANO, ALEUTIAN ISLANDS
The Alaska Volcano Observatory first detected earthquakes associated with the movement of magma and heat at Pavlof's summit on May 13, 2013. Photographs and satellite imagery confirmed an eruption on May 14.
