During the<br />next week, upon entering the garage, NASA HQ civil service<br />employees with parking permits will be issued a random number<br />decal to place over the NASA logo on their hanging parking tag.<br />During the September-October recertification and parking permit<br />renewal period, new hanging tags will be issued. For details, see<br />http://www.hq.nasa.gov/hq/recordkeep.htm Scott Howell, 358-1558.<br /><br /><br />ANNUAL BOSTON PROPERTIES RELAMPING PROGRAM<br />Boston Properties is currently relamping the HQ Building,<br />starting on the C-level and continuing up to the 9th floor.<br />According to the Statement of Work in the NASA HQ Lease<br />agreement, the engineers must install lighting tubes in all<br />lighting fixtures. Employees who would like to have one or two<br />light tubes removed from their overhead fixtures may request<br />lighting adjustments once this work is completed in their area.<br />To make your request, contact the Facilities Help Desk and the<br />LESCO electrician can make adjustments. Eric Rountree, Facilities<br />Manager, 358-0209.<br /><br /><br />PAYROLL UPDATE: NEW FEDERAL TAX RATES, SES DUES<br />- The new Federal tax rate tables will be reflected in the<br />paycheck that is received on July 8, 2003 for pay period 14. This<br />will not be retroactive. The retroactive portion will be refunded<br />to employees by IRS through the normal process of filing income<br />tax returns.<br />- The Senior Executive Association dues will increase from $10 to<br />$11 per pay period beginning with pay period 15, which is the<br />July 22, 2003 pay check.
