WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki said on Thursday he would take "timely action" to deal with allegations that veterans died while waiting for medical care at VA facilities in Phoenix while officials masked months-long waiting time for appointments.
