This modification does not include Return to Flight <br />efforts. It requires USA to perform several tasks involving <br />Space Shuttle Orbiter and Solid Rocket Booster modification, <br />infrastructure and launch pad refurbishment at NASA's <br />Kennedy Space Center, Fla., and flight operations in support <br />of the Space Shuttle and International Space Station <br />Programs.<br />This effort is cost-reimbursable with award fee. The <br />modification is valued at $49 million including options. The <br />basic effort is valued at $45 million, bringing the total <br />value of the SFOC to $12.8 billion.<br />The work will be performed principally at USA's facilities <br />in Houston; Huntsville, Ala.; the Kennedy Space Center; and <br />the major subcontractors' facilities in Huntington Beach, <br />Calif.; Houston; and Cape Canaveral, Fla.<br />For information about NASA on the Internet, visit:<br /><br />http://www.nasa.gov<br /><br />-end-
