Here it is:
I need to find the brand soon as humanly possible; there is a problem with the remote controllers (not just a flat battery).
Many thanks!

Oy, you Schlemiel! Try http://www.fanscity.com.au/ Their retail shop is on South Dowling Street, Waterloo - next door to the mirror shop.

Thanks! It probably was bought there. Now positively identified as an older model by Hunter - going to try a new remote first.

I didn't know ID's had ceiling fans! Even my DS Pallas doesn't have one, maybe it was an option for Citroens sold in tropical climates?

Hello Michael, it was a Heidelberg thing.
Slough cars built for "pays extrêmement chaud" came with punkahs above front and rear seats, and a wallah to pull the cord for you.
More seriously, $260 for two OEM RF controllers and receivers (Lighting Warehouse, Concord).
