An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 occurred only 13 minutes ago 22 km southwest of Rājgarh, India, India's National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 5 km beneath the epicenter near Rājgarh, Churu, Rajasthan, India, early afternoon on Thursday, October 13th, 2022, at 2:32 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake which listed the quake at magnitude 3.5 as well. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 3.5.
