The contract comprises 500 remote stations as well as one redundant hub station. Fox Entertainment Group's Fox Cable Networks division will utilise the new capacity to distribute Fox Sports Net HD (FSN HD) and other future High-Definition (HD) services. The addition of this data set will allow users to overlay traditional 2D satellite maps on elevation data to achieve a 3D representation of the world.
